Calling for candidates and nominations to serve as the next President Elect of the NY Chapter of the American Fisheries Society. This is an exciting opportunity to take a leadership role in the Chapter and gain valuable leadership experience. Serving as President Elect represents a 3 year commitment. One year as President elect, one year as President, and one year as Past President. The election will take place during the Annual Meeting of the NY Chapter, Feb 6-8.

- A brief biography detailing experience in the fisheries field and why you are interested in serving as President Elect.
- Detail previous experience with American Fisheries Society
- A head shot or fishy photo
Responsibilities
- Serve as a voting member of the Executive Committee (EXCOMM).
- Attend quarterly EXCOMM meetings (virtual).
- Attend business and EXCOMM meetings at the NY Chapter Annual meeting.
- Organize the raffle at the NY Chapter Annual Meeting in 2025.
- Become familiar with Chapter functions and prepare for term as President.
