NYCAFS – Native Fish Committee
Meeting and Field Event

June 17-18, 2025
Host – SUCO Oneonta (Otsego Lake) Field Station

Please join us for a 2-day meeting of the NY Chapter of the American Fisheries Society – Native Fish Committee.

Day 1 will consist of a native fish coordination meeting, followed by an afternoon of native fish sampling near Cooperstown.
Day 2 (optional) will consist of fish catching in streams a little farther afield. There is state park (Glimmerglass) at the north end of the lake and camping might be possible near the field station.

The fish sampling will target uncommon shiners, darters and trout in the Susquehanna River drainage with local experts.
