Fall 2019 YARE (Youth Aquatic Resource Education Workshop): Sun., Oct. 27, 9 am-5 pm, at Cazenovia College

A collaboration between Student Chapters and Subunits of the NY Chapter of AFS, YARE seeks to train college students, environmental educators, and K-12 teachers for hands-on aquatic resources education.
Lessons and activities include lake and stream ecology, fish identification and sampling techniques, water quality assessment, and teaching kids how to fish.

The offering of this free educator training event is a collaboration among NYS Chapter of the American Fisheries Society, NYS Parks’ FORCES program, and the Environmental Biology Program at Cazenovia College.
