Second call for abstracts

New York Chapter American Fisheries Society

7–9 February 2018, Otesaga Resort Hotel, Cooperstown, NY

Submission deadline 5 January 2018

Abstracts for oral and poster presentations are now being accepted for the 2018 meeting of the New York Chapter American Fisheries Society (7–9 February 2018), at the Otesaga Resort Hotel in Cooperstown, NY.

The theme of our meeting this year is “Forage in the food web”, and a variety of other topics considered. We will have keynote addresses that span from the Great Lakes, to inland waters, and out to coastal and marine waters. This year, we have also reduced the number of keynote speakers to accommodate a greater number of presentations in concurrent sessions on Thursday and Friday.

Oral presentations will be 20 min (15 + 5 for questions). Talks should be in PDF or PowerPoint format. Maximum poster size is 36 in x 48 in, landscape orientation.

All submissions should include:

• Presentation format (oral or poster)

• Title

• Authors and contact information, indicating if presenting author is a student

• Abstract

Please submit by email to Program Chair Dan Stich ([email protected]) with ‘NYCAFS abstract’ in subject line.

The submission deadline for abstracts is 5 January 2018. Presenters will receive email confirmation of their abstract submission upon receipt, and they will be notified of acceptance by 19 January 2018.

Remember to visit our website (http://newyork.fisheries.org/) for information about this and previous meetings. Content will be updated as the program develops.

Thank you,

2018 Program Committee
