Hello Fisheries Enthusiasts,

This email is a reminder that we have some fresh content (with photos) on the Newsletter Blog (http://newyork.fisheries.org/newsletter-blog/). Recent submissions from your fellow AFS members have discussed topics like:

-Environmental DNA

-Conservation efforts for Lake Whitefish, Longear Sunfish, and Lake Sturgeon

-Expansion of Rainbow Darters

Since starting the Newsletter Blog last spring I have received 15 submissions! Going forward, my vision is for the blog to function as an extremely current source of information on fisheries research in New York State. Please continue to send me submissions as often as possible – no topic is too small and no submission is too short. The results of a recent study, summary of an ongoing program, or details on a recent publication are all great material for submissions.

I want submissions to be as quick and painless as possible. To submit material to the blog just email me at [email protected] with 4-6 sentences of text (or more if you like)  and 1-2 photos and I can usually produce a post in the next 24 hours.

Please visit the blog at http://newyork.fisheries.org/newsletter-blog/ and continue to send me submissions so we can make it an important collection of current fisheries research in our state! I appreciate your continued support.
